Either serious, funny, or pragmatic, it all works for me.
Most the members of this site are Duramax Hotrodders. Very few members have ever had to deal with our staff other than get info, help, and opinions from them. All the staff here are hardcore Dmax enthusiasts. But you piss off the guy working the parts counter deliberately, and he's going have a little fun with your ass. Except Rob, who is our "Litmus Test" and Web Guru. Rob makes sure we live by our creed with no bias. Since he is a Car Hotrodder with years of experience, he can tell me when I'm out-of-line, and has just as much say about the board ops as I do.
Hotrodding our trucks shouldn't have to be more painful than necessary, so treating folk with a little respect who really want to help you if given the chance goes a very long ways.

PS - The real "boss" of this site is Kat. She keeps me in line, as everyone knows I can be a bit of an ahole. Kat and Rob can over-rule me, and have.
