I'm sorry if I have this in the wrong forum guys. I have an 05 lly with 102k on it. I just bought it and drove it about 180 miles last night. After I got to my destination, my truck started to white smoke. It only does it while sitting in gear like at a stop light or something. Doesn't do it at all in park while sitting. No loss of power. Truck seems to run great otherwise. Has a very strong exhaust smell as well. Only mods I know of are air raid intake and mbrp exh. Please help guys. Thanks.

You may have a bad injector or two. May be a wise idea to have some tests run to check.

i have been through the EXACT same thing with mine right after i bought it. it is 100 percent an injector issue. u should definitly ice pick trick all your injector connections first. use dielectric grease on them as well. then pull the FICM wire harness away from the alternator bracket where is zip-ties at. remove the zip-tie check the wires for cracks and chaffing. then insulate it with heater hose, i just left mine un-ziptied. but im sure its an injector issue replace them one by one untill the isssue is gone. check your balance rates, id bet that one bank is really high all across the board. the FICM has cyl-1,4,6,7 wired together electriccaly and cyl-2,5,7,8 wired together, thats incase the truck shuts one bank down cause of limp mode ( mainly 2,7 injector harness issue) it will stay balanced while running. hope this helps you out! it is injectors more than likely

Thanks for the input guys. There is no way to figure out exactly which injector(s) is causing my issue? Any suggestions on where to get replacement injectors?
