Yes I'll keep that in mind and ask when I send my tuner back in for the trans tuning. I agree on smoke. Mine smokes a bit with the set up I have but only when you floor it and it's a moderate sized poof lol.Welcome to the site.
You might ask Kory about injectors. Some claim its easier to keep the rods inside the block with bigger injectors since the injection cycle is shorter for the same amount of fuel. Another thing is bigger injectors might be easier to keep the smoke down on since the injectors close earlier. Remember black smoke is waisted fuel and excess heat.
Ya I hope it's a along time till they go. I heard lmm has good injectors. I am at 127k miles now. Still in spec too.I wish I would have went bigger when I did mine. But yanno if yours are still in spec that's a huge task to tackle. And expensive. I'd leave it till they do go
I'm really excited for it anyways now I can't even wait lol. And ya I like to have my bases covered lol I even put a kryptonite stage 3 front end kit in it I've owned a couple dodges lol never again will I deal with a front end.yes, it is that big of a difference! Good job on regearing; so many people don't and then bitch that they keep destroying trannies, etc. :thumb:
Well I didn't install the lift myself had a local shop do it. It's a fabtec 6 in from what I understand it's one of the better speciaslly for the price. Definitely ain't a cognito lift or high end but everything underneath looks good. I bought it with under a 100k last summer and it's about to crack 128 lifts been on for probably 27k miles. But I know what you mean. I'm not gonna be doing four wheel launches with it or much off roading I like the life time warranty is the main thing that and it's crazy how much thicker they are.it'll help, but it's not foolproof. If you have the torsion bars turned up you'll still have damage. I rolled my Kryptonite centerlink up, lol.
But my point was idk if the bars are turned up I didn't do the lift. And it's my first gm I don't know IFS trucks. I've always had solid front axle trucks.it'll help, but it's not foolproof. If you have the torsion bars turned up you'll still have damage. I rolled my Kryptonite centerlink up, lol.
Ya they aren't completely flat I know that. It's pretty damn close tho. Also I should say in four wheel drive in the snow I noticed if I accelerate the truck pulls as tad to one side. Not sure why. Any ideas? I've heard others say the same thing.Look at your CV angles; make them dead flat. It's your best insurance.
Have you let the trans learn its shifts? You shouldn't have hard shifts. That's a bad sign!

Well the more I drive it the better it gets. My transmission guy told me to be easy for as bit. But also said it will shift harder then it used to.Have you let the trans learn its shifts? You shouldn't have hard shifts. That's a bad sign!
