I use to swear by s366s on stock bottom end trucks cause they spool faster and are a lot cheaper. Plus good for 6-650. But I learned on here the slower spooling bigger turbos are a lot better on stock rods cause your in the rpms a lot more when it lights.

^^This plus you have so much room to grow. An S468 is small enough for stock fuel but once you build the motor you can really push it. Especially if you go a little looser on the exhaust side. 87mm on the rear is awesome with spray.

Anybody know if you can simply swap in a TCT wheel or are there other parts that are different? Is everybody going to Mark for TCT turbos?

I run a 100% stock lly tcm tune and shift at 3200 rpm with 721 horse. Still alive:D

Mike, I know you dyno'd that 721 but your track time doesn't show anywhere near that hp. maybe 650-660 based on mph (guessing 7000lbs, you might be lighter)

Whatever you guys do.... don't tell him that a S468 or larger "spools like stock":mad::mad: That's just wrong :thumb:

Not even my 366 spools like stock. .91 ar 80mm turbine t4. Stock fueling and it still takes it a bit to light the tires. Some of that is probably converter but 5300 ft in elevation and 7500+ in DA but still. I couldn't imagine trying to get a 468, 472, or 475 to light here. I bet it'd be a laggy biatch

I personally feel having an 80mm turbine wheel hurts you with spooling Brock. I feel my 74mm turbine wheel is too large as well.

Once the 366 lights its a blast though :woott:

TCT turbos can only be bought as a complete unit from bullseye, that's what I've been told when I talk with them. Being Mark does alot of work with bullseye he may be able to do more. This is just what I've was told when looking into them.

You can get a TCT drop in wheel for the LLY turbos, that's the only one I know of you can get by itself. I haven't talked to them for a little bit though.

When I don't have load hooked up it's fine. But if weigh 27k - 28k lbs it's not as snappy, haha.

A smaller compressor & turbine wheel or twins is what I'll be switching too.
