What are you guys talking about thats some nice work. Ya'll ought to see what our mechanics do and they "know" how to weld.
I found a pic of one fix
Here is what they had to fix as you can see it has been "fixed" several times. There is something wrong when you build a water wagon that gets dragged around a rough uneven job site weighting over 24K and don't build it to have any flex or suspension at all. It actually looked worse after they fixed it. I didn't get pics of the fix, but it evolved lots of rod most of it was used as filler pieces. And a 3/8"x2"x6' piece of flat stock that as welded on top of that broken pipe. It lasted 30 mins on flat ground 15 of those where spent sitting still getting filling it up. After I brought up the fact it needed to have some flex they did a better job fixing it the next time, but it still ain't going to last, but until we get it stuck and have to push it out.
