I like Florida in the winter months, it's miserable in the summer though. Colorado is a very nice choice, It's a very good place if you like the outdoors.

I've had friends that lived in Newport in the OC. It's really nice but no normal person can afford to live there.

People dog Ohio but it really is very nice. The weather sucks but the people make the difference here. Always nice people willing to help you out. Also, $300k will buy you a house that you would see on MTV Cribs.

Since I've seen a bunch of differnt places in my travels, my best of everything pick is: Charleston, SC.

It's on the water, good year round climate. Hurricane's are always a possibility but it has stood the test of time. It's a very historical city with many of the original down town builds left from the Civil War. People are very nice, and real estate is still resonable, but I don't think that will last long.

Vegas/Henderson or near Vegas.

Cheap housing, close to California, entertianment, water, drag strip, close to a port (LA & Long Beach), close to snow. Less hispanic influence.

Winter would be nice.

Alaska in the summer and early fall.

good ol Ohio....usually 2-3 drag races a week and anywhere from 3-5 truck pulls a week during the summer. Seems like most people hit 2 a day on saturday and sunday :)

SUCKS

Actually, I have lived all over BC and travelled all over western Canada. My personal opinion is to live 30min west of Red Deer, or to live in the North Okanagan like east of Enderby or around the Salmon Arm area. Best of everything IMO.

But BC has a 7.5% provincial sales tax! Alberta still charges "0"%
