New Gt5541 106mm, new SoCal 9100 alt firing order cam (currently running hamiltons biggest cam so will be cool to see differences), new HSP billet manifolds, and a Nitrous Express kit :D

should move out

It was the first time testing on the dyno, and the truck didn't like it. Made 386 HP at 2400 rpm then the abs system turned on the brakes. The dyno graph shows the HP climbing fast from 2000 rpm to the 2400 rpm when it shut itself down. Dustin didn't get another chance at the dyno to see if we could fool the ABS system as it was a very busy event. Hopefully we'll make some time after world finals for some dyno testing and have some better results.

The fuel pressure drop shows a lift pump will be pretty mandatory for anything much over a street tune.

Yep, my H&S on hot will not run at WOT when I hit 4th gear, I have to lift and stomp again.

I'm ready for some tuning, keep it up!

I have seen in the data logs there is a 4th gear fueling issue. Rail pressure drops to 14k under WOT until it shifts to 5th and then back up to 28k. I'm not sure what it is but I'll be looking into that next. The TCM sure could use some work on extended shift points.

The main reason I didn't buy a LML was because I thought we would never be able to get efi live for the new trucks unfortunately as soon as I Bought the lmm you guys cracked the code! Dang it!

We did some distance testing and have some results on the ATP 2013 LML; This truck is a 3500 CCSB with 400 miles on it before this test so not broken in. The weight of the truck was 7650lbs when driven across the scales at a highway weigh station with ¾ tank of fuel. Totally stock with nothing added or taken off from the way the factory built it.

Stock tune averaged 17.95 mpg and averaged 11.3 miles per gram of soot accumulated, no regen during this time (250 mile run).

Street tune averaged 18.28 and had a regen during this test. Averaged 22.7 miles per soot gram (230 mile run)

Dyno/Race tune averaged 19.38 mpg and averaged an amazing 112.75 miles per soot gram, no regen during this time (500 mile run).

Speedo limiter is tested and confirmed to be removable and cruise still works fine.

So an 8% average in fuel economy but a great reduction in soot at a minimum. This should increase fuel savings over a longer test as the truck will not regen as frequently. I’m not sure about DEF costs as the truck doesn’t seem to be using any. More testing will be done to see how the street tune does without a regen and to confirm the crazy soot reduction on the high performance tune.

So testing is going well. There are many tests still to be run but things are looking great. Overall this thing rips right now with the high performance tune. It has a pretty rapid climb in soot production when bombing around town beating on it so I have some work to do there. Around town MPG has been in the 15-17 range testing different tunes and a very heavy peddle including burn outs and power braking and spool up tests. On the race tune that ran 14.60 it got 17.1 mpg in town use with no highway mileage.

We did a bit of playing at the track yesterday. My friend took the ATP LML to the track and I was running the Camino.

LML fully loaded 1 ton, totally stock except for an ATP tune (factory emissions, no lift pump, full weight as it came off the lot) and he ran it in 2 x 4 as I haven't put sleeves on it. He weighs 300lbs and I just filled the fuel tank with 35 gallons on the way to the track, ran a few 14 second passes (best of 14.60 with a 2.36 60' at 96 MPH). Good 60' and this is a 13 second truck with nothing but a tune.

I'm working with MikeL in testing some bolt on transmission parts also.

This is the same tune that Dustin used to get MPG improvement and much reduced regen frequency over stock. I have been running this tune for weeks around town and it is a ball. So great HP, full factory emissions, improved MPG and less regen.

I'm about ready to release tuning for the stock emission equipped trucks. We are ironing out some details with EFI and then we'll be ready to tune your LML.

Kansas when I am home
We have gone through 3 tanks of def just this summer in the lml. Not for sure in mileage as it's out on the road right now but I know we keep it with us all the time so we don't get slowed down.

I'm no expert but i think the def is the less evil than dpf. But with the dpf deleted their would be no reason for def correct? So tuning around dpf is pointless?

Just curious I'm sure I'm wrong but am curious
