What are my options. I need to go from a 3.5" V-Band compressor discharge to my factory intercooler.

I called ATS today as I had their number for some reason, they said they generally dont sell them seperate from the kit. So I figured with a response like that maybe they werent such a bad company. I asked him if he would, he said no. I asked why, he said because we dont do that. I told him thats a pretty crappy business move, he said oh well it happens. Phone call done. Im sick of that company. Sorry for the rant.

Heres another option. Local guy that built the turbo gets these flanges made that clamp to the 3/5" V band but you can weld a 3" pipe to it and it will work well. So should I get a Banks pipe or something and do that??

I think Banks sells the boost tubes seperately

x2 that's what i would do. or i would buy some aluminum tubing and a guy with a mandrel bender and do them yourself. i wrapped mine with heat tape and coated them, I will report temps when it gets warmer

you can get a banks hot side pipe for 112.00 shipped i have one in the mail to go with my twins :angel: try asking ntwdiesel he is a ats dealer and a sponser here .

good luck finding one of them. I looked and looked and nobody has one anywhere around here. Talked to a few people that said they thought about getting one but saw the price tag of just under 90,000 and said no thanks.

Ill probably get the Banks tube but I bet it aint cheap. well and since Im at it I better just get both of them eh? it would only make sense something I dont like to do.

this was one set up for up to 5 or 6".

A lot of it probably depends on the brand and features.

If you can get a banks for just over $100 that is cheap. Mandrel benders that only go up to 3" can be well over 100G. Used Pines #2 benders go for 10 to 15 G. But if you have to buy a set of dies they can go for up to 5G for one set

I know of one that will do up to 3" that is for sale for 12G, lots of dies

i was going to post up some pics of mine i just got today until i found it was the cold side , sometime i hate ordering things . hopefully banks will get me the right one out quickly . i'' have to call them tomarrow

x2 buy some bends and find someone that can TIG weld :welcome4: to help you. I'm actually going to be doing some fab work on my truck and making some bigger tubes. How far away are you from chicago? Maybe I could help you out?

I can make it to gary indiana in 2-2.5 hours tops. If you come up 39 im an hour over the border.

I might just buy the banks pipe to get me buy, although my neighbor is a TIG welder and I used to be decent at it, but havent done it in awhile

its on the way banks was actually really good to deal with the are giving me the cold side pipe no charge and a hot side pipe is already in route there custommer service really suprised me .
