Im tired of it learning and Wandering how its going to shift when i floor it or need to floor it.

Seems like i get it shifting great, clicking them off,

Then i have to drive around town and dont get on her for a day or two and it kinda forgets all the spirited drivivg ive done.

I jush wish it didnt learn. Loved how my old Built 4L65E shifted, i could always count on it.

Oh well , Still love this tranny though!

Tuning and a good build can help most of that. That and clean filters. Mine shifts goofy when I need filters

All the filters internal/external are 1 month old, just had new C3's in. The trans is fine, Its just the Learning i dont like.

Dont want to mess with tuning, Not worth it for me.

I dunno what problems you are having... but WOT have its own taps... I race in normal D (no T/H) and my shifts are always great. Once my trans temp gets above 205 or so the 3-4 gets a little sloppy sometimes but like i said i never have problems.

No problems really.

It just seems that after i get it shifting nice and crisp, Then driving lax around town a day or two, Sometimes at half to 3/4 throttle " Stabs" it might Slightly flare or it shifts nice.

Im just saying it never feels the EXACT same all the time like my gasser trannies did.

Maybe its just me. 98% of the time it shifts great, i just think its
learning" when im putting around town hurts its shifting?

Didnt know WOT had its own set of TAPS, Good to know. Maybe like i said its in my head.

Mine does the same thing Very annoying

I also hate when you spin the tires and it goes to shift it doesn't know what to do. It kills all the fun

i wouldn't do this...

I dont think its good for the tranny but if you want it to shift a certain way this is the way to do it. Nick maybe you have a better idea? DO NOT change tuning or power levels without letting it relearn.

Dont turn off adaptive shifting...

Also beat the hell out of it (track Driving) in T/H mode. Normal driving in normal mode. Thats what T/H is for Track/Haul Ass Mode, right?

Tim, do you change tunes a bunch?

No, Just run a healthy race tune for daily driving. Since us LBZ guys cant get

Dsp5 yet!:(

Dont get me wrong, my trans is working/shifting fine, I just wish it Felt like a built 4l65E .

Seems like after driving around town, slow driving when i have my son with me, then i get on it and SOMETIMES it feels lazy/flared but seems to clear up.

I just wish it shifted like it was beat on all the time and would remember it!!! , in every RPM and throttle position.

That's interesting, my buddy's LBZ always shifts quickly and never has flared shifts. The only time it flared shifts was when it learned the race tune.
