1. I voted Democrat because I believe oil companies' profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene, but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn't.

2. I voted Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.

3. I voted Democrat because Freedom of Speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.

4. I voted Democrat because I'm way too irresponsible to own a gun, and I know that my local police are all I need to protect me from murderers and thieves.

5. I voted Democrat because I believe that people who can't tell us if it will rain on Friday can tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don't start driving a Prius.

6. I voted Democrat because I'm not concerned about millions of babies being aborted so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.

7. I voted Democrat because I think illegal aliens have a right to free health care, education, and Social Security benefits.

8. I voted Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as the Democrats see fit.

9. I voted Democrat because I believe liberal judges need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would never get their agendas past the voters.

10. I voted Democrat because I think that it's better to pay billions to people who hate us for their oil, but not drill our own because it might upset some endangered beetle or gopher.

11. I voted Democrat because while we live in the greatest, most wonderful country in the world, I was promised "HOPE AND CHANGE".

12. I voted Democrat because my head is so firmly planted up my ass, it's unlikely that I'll ever have another point of view.

I am sure to get flamed on this, but no matter who is President ,Congress or Senate. These issues are in the forefront. All of the people in the government are whores when it comes to money.

1. I voted Democrat because I believe oil companies' profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene, but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn't.

The oil companies do not pay that tax you and I do. And profits in the Billions year after year should preclude oil companies from getting government handouts in subsidies and tax breaks, thats what makes me mad. Let them make profit, but stop giving them my tax money.2. I voted Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.

Maybe true in some cases. Americans have proven as a whole they are not saving for retirment and medical care. 3. I voted Democrat because Freedom of Speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.

I do believe in freedom of speech, without restiction.
4. I voted Democrat because I'm way too irresponsible to own a gun, and I know that my local police are all I need to protect me from murderers and thieves.

Some are not responsible. But we should be allowed to have guns and we are. Nobody has taken them away.

5. I voted Democrat because I believe that people who can't tell us if it will rain on Friday can tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don't start driving a Prius.

I am pretty sure that has never been said. I do belive in caring for the environment. I have seen an incredible decrease in air pollution. Industry bitched and moaned along with politicians that it would kill business. Now look clean air places is where people want to live and work. Ounce of prevention cannot hurt.6. I voted Democrat because I'm not concerned about millions of babies being aborted so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.

Yep death row inmates should be put to death. Babies being aborted has been going on forever and will go on forever. No law or political ideology will stop it from happening.7. I voted Democrat because I think illegal aliens have a right to free health care, education, and Social Security benefits.
Talk to Reagan
8. I voted Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as the Democrats see fit.

Thats bs. Business owners keep a hell of a lot more for themselves than you think.9. I voted Democrat because I believe liberal judges need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would never get their agendas past the voters.

Since it is a conservative Supreme court, I think this statement should be re-thought out.10. I voted Democrat because I think that it's better to pay billions to people who hate us for their oil, but not drill our own because it might upset some endangered beetle or gopher.

There is more oil production in the U.S. now than in the last 8 years
11. I voted Democrat because while we live in the greatest, most wonderful country in the world, I was promised "HOPE AND CHANGE".

I do live in the greatest country in the world.

Guess you should reread #12 and insert conservative. I am not offended by your point of view(jokes?) and I would not say I am a liberal. I am pretty sure I did not say anything "Liberal", oh except for the air pollution thing. Yes I am happy about smog restrictions because it lets me live in sunny SoCal and breath clean air compared to the 70s and 80s, wow thats "Liberal" or I guess I should just suck it up and say thanks to the polluters for the lung cancer. I do have 2 diesel vehicles. I just think some of your "jokes" were uneducated rantings. Most likely you only listen to Rush or Glen Beck. Try expanding your information base and your mind. You can be a conservative and have common sense, they are not mutually exclusive.

Some are not responsible. But we should be allowed to have guns and we are. Nobody has taken them away.

Gun laws only get stricter as a whole... slowly.. inch by inch... You think these gun laws/background checks make it any harder for the person you really don't want having a gun to obtain a gun??

I voted Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.

Maybe true in some cases. Americans have proven as a whole they are not saving for retirment and medical care.

:roflmao: The libs aren't taking our money and putting it away for us. They are taking our money and spending it how they see fit.. whether that be food stamps for some lazy bastard down the street or some woman who can't keep her legs closed and has 5 kids and no job or father. Rewarding lazy people and making it easy for them isn't going to solve a thing. Not to mention, printing money and de valuing the shit out of what money someone may have put away isn't helping anybody save for retirement.

The bottom line is that you vote liberal/democrat if you want someone making decisions for you. You vote conservative if you want to have more say in your life... it's closer to actual freedom. Everyone knows we need some government, but we sure as hell arn't going to agree on how much is necessary

All of the people in the government are whores when it comes to money.

I do agree with you on this.

It would be nice to see some people in office who have to live in the same world they help create for everyone else...

I agree whole heartedly. The politicians on both sides only are interested in lining their pockets for the future. No real understanding about how their lives compare to ours.

Like this?
Maybe true in some cases. Americans have proven as a whole they are not saving for retirment and medical care.
Why is this ANY of yours or ANYONE else business what the person next to you is saving or not saving? I sure as hell dont need someone telling me where or how to spend my money. Its my damn money and I made it. If anything I SHOULD see to where it gets spent. And ah yea thats liberal.

Or this?
Some are not responsible. But we should be allowed to have guns and we are. Nobody has taken them away.
And I bet those people not being responsible with guns are the same ones that goto the local gun store and purchase them legally arent they? You take away guns and you are ONLY taking them away from law abiding citizens. Not thugs and criminals. They are called that for a reason. THEY BREAK THE LAW. Again...on the verge of retardation.

Thats bs. Business owners keep a hell of a lot more for themselves than you think
This is just not in the sense of higher taxes. It also pertains to laws being made to regulate businesses and their practices. While some are good most are not. Case in point....here in Ohio they are rolling out next January a new law stating anyone that tows a trailer must comply to federal DOT laws. This is just plain ridiculous. While I am all for safe towing the requirements are going to cost me lots of money to comply. All this stems from the state being broke and needs more income. I got a fix for that. Eliminate welfare for everyone. Problem solved.

Yea that may be true to some extent but its not even CLOSE to what it could or should be. Im really not sure when it was decided that some polar bear or owl is more important than human well being. And by well being I am referring to money in peoples pockets. Drill that shit already cause Im tired of working a whole day to fill up my truck that lasts a week.

I do live in the greatest country in the world.
You did get this right. It COULD be alot better too with some actual leadership next time around.

Yes I am happy about smog restrictions because it lets me live in sunny SoCal and breath clean air compared to the 70s and 80s, wow thats "Liberal" or I guess I should just suck it up and say thanks to the polluters for the lung cancer. I do have 2 diesel vehicles.
I doubt either one of your diesels smokes and pollutes the air when your pulling do they? I assume your EGR is not blacked either and everything is smog legal? Or maybe thats a double standard.

I just think some of your "jokes" were uneducated rantings. Most likely you only listen to Rush or Glen Beck. Try expanding your information base and your mind. You can be a conservative and have common sense, they are not mutually exclusive.
I dont listen to anyone on a daily basis. I make my own conclusions. I sure as hell dont listen to anything MSNBC has to say nor do I listen to NPR. As I said before I make my own decisions. There are a few things I dont agree on that most conservatives do agree on. Im not ignorant to new information or ways to do things but I am mostly a hard nosed type of person. Take the bull by the horns kind of guy. I really dont give a shit what anyone thinks about it either. Thats the beauty of it :thumb:

So with all that being said....pull up your big girl panties and laugh a little more

I voted Democrat because it's easier to agree with everyone then disagree with anyone.

I voted Democrat because I was educated in public schools, by liberal teachers who have tenure and were brainwashed by 1960's hippies who ruined America.

I voted Democrat because I dislike Christmas and Easter and want to celebrate Rahmadan and Allah's birth instead.

I voted Democrat because I was too stupid to vote for anyone else.

I voted Democrat because I was promised free housing, free health care, free food, free heating oil,a free college education, the only catch was I had to live in squalor with the other losers in society.

I voted Democrat because I am a guilt ridden, white liberal who feels like voting for incompetent minorities because it makes me feel better about myself.

I voted Democrat because they want to save the environment by ruining the economy.

Haha Tony! I thought I was the only one that thought Hippies screwed America. I hate hippies like no other. Only thing good about em is the girls are all about going topless. I can get down with that but its far and few for a looker.
