So I got the service 4wheel drive on my DIC so I took it to the dealership they scanned it and had to replace the tccm and reflash. 4x4 worked fine for a week then the same thing happened so I took it back and now they are saying there is internal tcase problems. It's never made a pop, bang, screech, howl nothing always smooth. I'm thinkin if something were wrong internally it would be making some kind of noise. I think they are tryin to give me the shaft, what do y'all think?

I agree with you if it was internal it should deff be makeing some noise. Maby go to another shop and get a 2nd opinion.

I think the guy working on it at the dealer just doesn't have a clue. Most dealer techs don't know much and should be changing oil. Have someone check tcase codes and search here prob find a bad encoder

check the ground from the back of the drivers head to the firewall seen that cause a tcase issue, and one bad module i believe
