You say you park on a incline and it wont start but otherwise its fine? If that were the case I'd say the check ball in the filter housing is letting fuel return to the tank and your losing prime.

I would put a lift pump on and be done with it.

A brand new filter head can be had fairly reasonable. Comes with a new filter, wif sensor and fuel heater all assembled. Ready to bolt on, hook hoses up and prime. I think I paid right at $150 from the dealer

Except he has an LB7, and they're like 650+ unless you've got an inside connection. BUT, I think that a filter head off an LLY or newer will work on them also...
I say put a lift pump on it, you're gonna need it soon anyway with 100hp sticks and the extra filtration won't hurt anything either

I'm pretty sure the fittings are angled different but that's it. Might have to replace the hoses with longer ones. There may be more, idk. I know at a savings of $500+ I'd find a damn way to make it happen

That's for sure! I know I've used the one off my LB7 to diagnose a cracked filter housing on a newer on(LLY or LBZ, don't remember for sure) and the hoses were kinda kinked, but some new ones would probably take care of that

Well what I ended up doing was ordering a new one for an LLY off of eBay, along with new and longer 1/2 diameter fuel hoses. I'll let ya know how it works whenever they get here. I agree for a savings of $500 I will find a way to make this work!

We'll I figured I would give you all an update. I got my filter base in the mail last week and didn't have time to get it on until yesterday.

Same problem as before. This is driving me crazy any more ideas??
