I need help finding wire

I am looking for some multi-conductor cable.

5 wires with 18-20ga. each.

coiled would be nice.

only need 5ft.

dont wanna spend more than about 20 bucks....

Home Depot... fast and easy.

thermostat wire.

Go over to the electrical section, find the spools and you can scope it out. IIRC they'll have 3 dif kinds.

I looked there, their multi-conductor is too small ga.

Crap, your right the brown IIRC is smaller.

Go find the thermostats at lowes or HD look for Carol Brand wire (white sheathing). Teal and white package label, Carol is white letters in a red outlined box.

Its 18 guage 5 strand. Camera in car otherwise i would take a picture for you, i am holding the wire in my hand. might check Cat 5 or 6 as well, avoid telephone jack wire.

Sorry about misleading you and the brown 5 strand, its for shorter runs but they sell it 500' rolls. Go figure.

If this doesn't work, there is a Graybar electrical supply at LV blvd and the freeway south of the strip (15?) IIRC.

Got an electrical supply near by? HVAC control wire is like phone wire, too thin. like 28ga

waytek is a great company with many many choices..... It is very hard to beat there prices also. I have tons of new scrap wiring harnesses from 2feet to twenty feet if anyone needs wire let me know. I may be able to help. I also have tons of black wire loom in a few sizes.
