Just bought a 2004 3500 with 250000. Truck has been sitting for 2 years and I jokingly offered him a number super low and he jumped on it. Now I own a 3500 that doesn't run. The truck also didn't run whe he parked it. It'll run all day if you keep it primed. Note, I am new to this whole forum thing and new to duramax. I own a 12 valve and know it good but can't really tell you anything about this thing. I need help!!
I need help, another fuel issue

starting off I bought two batteries and a rebuild for the filter housing. Still didn't fix. I read so many forums I got convinced an airdog would be the ticket. Still nothing whether I go into the housing or bypass (truck won't run with it being bypassed but can prime it to run for a for min with the filter housing hooked up)
1st off is it an lb7 or lly? The 8th digit in the VIN is "1" for lb7 "2" for lly

If you have an android phone and about $20 you can get yourself a bluetooth obd adaptor and the Torque pro app. I use it on my truck and it's definitely worth the money. Pm me and I can give you more details

Haven't got the codes checked. It's a hassle trying to load it up on a trailer to take it to autoparts store. Have a friend that has one just waiting on him to get here. What could it possibly be tho, i know it's not the filter head bc I bypass with airdog and won't even start
