You can have just 2 tunes on a dsp 5 switch you just make the second tune the same as 3-4-5

How much are they charging for that? Ask them what they change in the tune for the injectors

So they want a total of $600 bucks for a dsp5 tune? You can pick up a pre tuned ecm and switch from a vendor for that and have a spare ecm i believe for right about that cost, maybe a hair more...

I am just saying look around because 600 is a lot to just be dropping for a day or 2 of convenience...

You can still do DSP2...everyone seems to have forgotten that. You can have a single tune, DSP2 for 2 tunes, or DSP5 for 5 tunes. That being said, if I were you I would look into some handheld tuners untill you get a little more educated in the diesel world. With EFI if you misplace a number, or move a decimal place too far your engine will be toast.

Id start looking into other tuners out there......

X2. Every tuner that just flashes something into your truck usually copies a tune someone else gave them. Then the best thing about EFIlive is lost because you have zero flexibility or freedom if someone else does all your tuning.

buy EFI Live from a vendor here... all of them will also write you a tune free with purchase of EFI Live:thumb:

x2,x3 IMO efi live isn't a tune it's a tuning system, It's very sophisticated an u can really screw up your engine, an some people think they know how to tune a truck but they don't, just because it blows black smoke doesn't mean it's tuned. Good Luck.

I think a PPE would be just fine for u they make nice smooth power. IMO
