the bottom line Larry is ........ and i am not saying this because i dont beleive ................ in order for people to beleive claims way outside of what we have considered obtainable there needs to be proof , either a EFI log or a 1/4 mile time slip , maybe even a video of the spedo and the rate it climbs .

I already sent you a PM regarding this. If you would like to discuss it in public, I am fine with that. Just for the record, I was not bashing you in that thread. I was simply looking for input from my friends to see whether or not I was out of line in my remarks and beliefs of your claims.
Actually, we don't have to discuss it at all. You and all the people posting in the above mentioned thread think I am an idioit and thats fine. i didn't say these things to brag, i was asking if it was normal as this is my first diesel to build. And as usual, no one can do anything but shoot down and talk bad about someone trying to get input. I don't owe you or anyone else anything except thanks to the people who actually help me. I couldn't have gone this far without them.
This thread can remain open, locked or even deleted. I will not stoop down to the bashing. My temper got the best of me at first but I am putting it to rest now.
In your pm you said "no hard feelings" and all I can do is question that because you left the conversation on the deisel place and went to another forum to continue without me knowing-secret-I am beginning to hate that word alot.
As for my "claims" or "bragging" it ends today. I will post up problems and fixes where I can offer input but I will no longer discuss anything I consider performance oriented where this stroker is concerned publicly.

no to pick sides, but JoshH didn't bash you or your truck, Larry. he did go to that thread for another opinion, which is where he and I differ. he and I have been discussing this all morning. i told him that i would have confronted you about it, which is why i started the other thread in the Texas section. he has friends on that forum, so he was looking for their input...which turned into a bashing fest that he wasn't a part of.

Don't worry, everyone who is on this site has been nothing but helpful and that will continue. I have some bars getting here tomorrow and wheels as soon as he chooses the style. Our track has a TNT coming up in june I think and if we have everything together we will go and do some testing and fine tuning. I will always let the people here who are interested know how it is going.
I would have to dig but this actually started on the diesel place. It just felt like bashing-calling me a lair-I just didn't expect it. Me and another person who has a stroker were discussing our projcets and he chimed in saying it wasn't possible basically -out of no where. I thought this had been put to rest. I may be off on the seconds but not by much. I first said 3 which was wrong-my fault. Then I asked my kids who were doing their own timing for fun and they said 4 maybe 4.5-hell even if its 5 or 6 seconds you don't go around the internet starting stuff you have no information on. I have seen hp estimators, 1/4 time estimators and they all have lots of room for errors-even dyno numbers can be fooled.
Like I said I will STFU myself. If anyone wants to know how its doing, they know how to get ahold of me!

I woludent worry much about what any one says. if your trucks fast it will be proven when you go to the track, even if its not and your happy with it thats all that matters. its your truck have fun with it and dont let people drag you down and into stupid internet bs.

I do not think you are an idiot, and I never bashed your truck. I called your claim into question as I have a truck that has track proven 11 second performance, and I know how much time it takes to accelerate from 60 to 110. I was trying to help you get a better idea of your truck's performance, and you made a smart ass reply to my suggestion.
You're right. You don't owe me anything, and I don't owe you anything either. I never saw you asking for help or advice on anything. I only saw some claims that seemed a little far fetched.
I said I hope you hold no hard feelings towards me. I do not hold any towards you. I went to that other forum to ask my friends if they thought what you were saying was possible. I saw no reason to continue it on DP based on the reply you gave me to my first comment. I did not start it to bash you, but unfortunately that is what direction the thread took. I am not responsible for what others post, but I guess you blame me because I started the thread.
I'm sorry you feel that way, but if being questioned hurts your feelings that much, you need to get some thicker skin. I hope you get the truck dialed in and prove me wrong. When you do, I'll be the first to congratulate you.

I have tried time and time again to rectact my 3 sec claim. I was excited because we finished it and it was a monster to ME. My smartass remark was probably immature but we were having a convo about our strokers and was enjoying the kidding and joking until you popped in. It pissed me off. As far as you never saw me ask for advice:rofl: I couldn't have even done this without all of these peoples help. Ask anyone on here, I was always calling, pm ing, texting, and just plain buggin the crap out of some of them (sorry pat, kat and guy). I have always asked for advice for something I am not sure of, even torque specs from some on here and the diesel place both. And you were just trying to help me get a better understanding of the performance of this truck? Have you driven it? Have you rode in this truck? Did you put it together? Did you help at all in the completion of this truck? NO! So how can you say or know anything about it? I understand the 3 sec deal was far fetched-sorry I made a mistake-I was fired up from driving this thing. I have even told Jewell I was going to have 1000hp and he called it bs-nicely-I am still learning but if i say something that seems a little out there it might be-or maybe fantasies do come true I will someday break that 1000hp mark-with this truck and I will put it in the 10's even if its a 10.999999. I don't have to prove anything to anyone but me and the man that owns it and pays the bills-and he is damn happy.
My skin is plenty thick enough and I was not hurt-I was pissed off-there is a big difference between questioning and feeling like I am being called a liar by someone I have never met and has not even seen this truck or watched it run.
