I bought a pulling truck.

This truck was sitting in the back of a shop of a friend of my dad's. 468ci. alchohol injected (the motor in the pic is carbed). supposed to be close to 900hp. he basically just wanted it out of the shop so i figured why not give it a try. get a second 468 and tranny in the deal. going to put the second motor in a chevelle i have.

probably in year or so

It's ready to roll. valves need to be setup and a general tune up.

I think somewhere in the late 80's. Have dvd of it pulling and most of it is 1987-1989. It's been sitting for about 5 or so years.

Very cool! Would be bad with a diesel! Hows that chassis work? Looked like it might be hinged at the rear and (basically solid) and the front axle is on the lower chassis rails with the springs/shocks supporting that end?

If that motor has sat that long....its gonna be needing fresh valve springs less valvetrain was backed off or it was rotated frequently over 5 years, they might be ok but doubt it.
