Dave "SmokinLLY" will bust his ass...

Tyler's LMM is slow, he won't even race a 4094 LBZ I built in Moorehead...

Can't wait to see it...:D

Oh Really? I sure havent heard of this lb7 you talk so highly of. Please get up with me as I would love nothing more than the oppertunity! Come on to Havelock, We can settle this ;)

On paper the LMM has an obscene advantage. Forget the turbo size difference. It is negligible in this case at best. The LMM could have a stock turbo and still win.

That being said people can easily fudge up what is supposed to work on paper with their own mechanical "theories."

Correct me if I'm wrong but I was under the impression once you exceed a turbos range, it becomes inefficient; thus, no power gain. I always thought you could have all the fuel in the world but once you run out of air, it will just smoke...?

I'm running a 2450 pw on 45% overs with a gt4088r. It hazes a bit at WOT. Asked Dustin to turn it up. He said once it smokes at WOT, you really aren't going to gain any more power. Running 3000 pw with 45% overs or hell even 100% overs (Tyler's injectors), I won't gain power. He also said you can't just add pw, as there are more variables to consider. Obviously I don't do my own tuning; therefore, I'd like some clarity. Thanks.

IMO you will stay make power, but the further you push it out of its MAP,aka efficiency range, the less and less gain you will see, until you see a loss or even a failure with the turbo.

I don't think either one of you are pushing either one of those turbos to their limit or really even that close to it..

If it only hazes at WOT you can still get a ton of power out of it. Maybe not efficiently, but we are definitely not limited to a specific A/F ratio to make peak power.

You can keep adding fuel to, and making power with, the stock charger until you spin it out of its map and eventially spin it out of the housing and destroy it.

Add a little bit of nitrous and you can easily make enough power with a stock charger to destroy the OEM bottom end.

Makes sense. Thanks :thumb:

I think yall should race at Coastal Plains dragway instead of Tyler's airstrip. We play out there on weekends. There's not much of a coast down. It's actually quite dangerous with no markings/lights. You will also have a time slip.

And stadium seating :happy2:

We need to figure out when it reopens for spring...
