Hyperflash turn signals

Is there a reflash for the bcm in the newer trucks to correct hyperflash signals from LED lights?

as far as i know, you gotta run bens unlocked/tuned BCM to change that. otherwise its all about resistors...

I believe there are certain trucks for like construction or police that have leds, you’d have to find one and get the vin number and have a dealer flash the bcm with their vin. Not sure if that’ll work on 2011+ but 07.5-10 wasn’t a problem

wasn't it also a common option for cab and chassis trucks. don't know if it still is for the newer ones but I'm sure it was before the LML

Local dealer service advisor called me back after some research and claims theres a flash for the bcm for box delete or cab/chassis trucks. We are gonna try that.

Someone on the SilveradoSierra forum literally just did this. Had the dealer flash them as if they had a flatbed and it worked.

Wonder if this is possible on a GMT-800....

per this document it looks like an option. even lists the RPO codes for it

The GMT800 has 2 different flasher part numbers. I don't believe they flasher module is on the data bus, but they're easy enough to swap out.

I've also heard the newer ones can be flashed as a cab and chassis to get LEDs to work right.

In the C5 corvette world, they have a hyper-flash harness that plugs into the turn signal wiring to solve LED issues. Its a T-harness with a relay. Works very well. I wonder if this is something that could be adapted to the trucks?

110% correct. I had my truck flashed with this.
