hp to hit <13.00 seconds

In a cc/sb 4x4, what is a good number to reliably get into 12.5-12.99 seconds?
Assuming good 12 psi launches.

I ran 12.7s with a ppe hot stacked with and edge back in the day...

500rwhp will get you there.

Instead of the CTS, use a Hot+2 with your setup and you should get there.

I dyno'ed 397 and ran a 13.3...... I think the dyno was a little off

I wouldn't be surprised if someone could hit a 12.99 with around 450whp (mustang dyno) with minor weight reduction, 245s-265's, good launch etc. Going from a 12.9 to a 12.5 does require quite a bit more power

Takes just over 500rwhp. The the lighter you are the better chance you will have. Also traction is going to have a significant play in this.

13.8+ maybe when all things are optimal the reaction,traction, just give me fits every time must be the game mine's usually higher than that from back off to save tranny. At least it still shifts real nice and tows hard after playing some. I really backed off the tranny abuse after seeing prices to fix that and decided to go for twins next before doing trans. Have fun.
