Any special way? My truck's been apart a couple time's and just does not feel as strong as it should be, and there is almost a howl that you can hear from under the hood.

I put a plug into the turbo compressor inlet side and pressurize the entire system. Its a sure way to see where boost leaks are. Just make sure pressures dont go over 30psi. Head gaskets are a mother to fix.:)

I made a tester with an inflatable pipe plug (available at any plumbing supply house) which i put in the tail pipe and inflated. Then i took a short piece of pvc 3" i think and threaded a blower into a cap and glued to the pipe and removed the boost tube from the turbo and attached my blower to it. If you do find a leak the plug y bridge inlet tube to determine wether the leak is in the tubes and intercooler or the intake manifold.

When ever I used pcv or abs plumbing stuff the plug would blow out. We use weldolet pipe plugs, sch 10 for 3in/4in and 5in. Just drill in a 1/4npt for what ever air hose you use. The air supply must be regulated. I have tested truck for leaks upto 80 psi.:) Saying that the truck has to be built to take that kinda of pressure.
