LB7: how to know if injectors are "old style" or uprgaded

Ok so it's the 39126 number, exergy told me that the first number is the year and I read somewhere else that you minus 80 from the 91 gives you the month(11) and 26 is the day.. So if you try to minus 80 from say the 8972 number minus 80 wouldn't work so that's not the number your looking for.

So was this the final solution to figuring out the date of manufacture?

Taking 80 from 91 is the right answer. That is a 03 injector and is not the updated style.

My injectors have numbers on each side. I believe these numbers mean they are remans. They were built in 02 and then reman in 06 by the second set of numbers on the opposite side. On one side the year numbers are 29220 12/20/2002 the the other side reads 68718 = 7/18/2006. Also two sets of part numbers. On the 02 side 0445120 008. The 06 side reads 0986435 502. Is this correct?

that would be correct for the remanufactured date.
