how to clean inter cooler out

jus had some bracing welded in my inter cooler.. iv ran water through it to get shavings out.. is there any other way to get shavings out?? I can't wash anymore out.. it may be clean but idk.. thanks

Normally you would cut the end tanks off if possible to clean and re-weld. You could have flooded with water then drilled to keep from getting debris into the cavity.

By the way my Spearco cracked along the welds at the body itself. Good luck with it and keep a very good check on it for leaks.

if I would have thought about it beforehand I would've told him to drill with grease on the bit to catch all the shavings but I just dropped it off and had him at the bracing and figured I would just cleaned it later

Are those rods internal that where plug welded?

my dude added 9 rods like oem in the sides... funk has had real good luck by doing this.. cheap insurance I believe.. sperco's are known for blowing out.. was wantin a banks but this was a steal deal
