saw that same exact thing at the track last night.... i swear some people deposit their brains in a safe depsit box when they get behind the wheel of a car. :rofl:
Although, a forward gear is normally used Jim decided to play head games with the rest of the participants in order to get the psychological advantage.

Back ~1977 I was at the drags with friends. John let his wife race his 327 Nova (~12.00 car). SHe had raced many times before, but she did a burnout through the lights, and then backed up to stage...
BRRRRRR!!! Holding it at 7000 rpm...
BANG! The car jumps backwards, the dual quads spill gasoline all over the engine and it bursts into flame. Fire was put out quick.
At least the Firebird was fuel injected, eh?
