I'm going out on a limb, and going to say you can kiss the 10 mark with a fuzz better set up! Your close and you said your trans was breaking your b*lls shifting in the later gears. Get it the 10 mark on stock motor and fuel. Spray it to get that one pass that will make the untouchable record :happy2:

The kit I would get open solenoid would be 200 shot

I like the idea of a momentary switch on the shifter (or the steering wheel) so you can spray once you hook. No point wasting nitrous if you're already spinning the tires.

And you can run without a jet, but that'll empty the bottle faster than you might need, which just runs the cost up. Of course, if you are only going to do a couple passes, the time savings to hook it up as James suggested ("pass tech ghetto fog" LOL!) might be worth the extra nitrous you use.

I'm curious, how much is nitrous? Not the kits and whatnot. I mean the gas. Just how expensive/cheap is it? Like a normal size bottle. How much to fill it? Roughly how many passes could you get out of one?

Roughly $5.00 a pound last time I bought it...it's been alittle bit tho. Bottle size would be 10 or 15 pound bottles. How many passes depends on how big a shot. When I was running a 200 shot on a gasser about 4-5 passes before bottle pressure started to drop on a 10lb bottle.

with the "shortage", its anywhere from 8-11 bucks a pound here in az if you can find it. 10lbs bottle lasted us about 4-5 passes as well with a 175 shot.
