How much pulse to be around 650hp?

Made it up to Jags, Josh was a nice guy to deal with. Very nice place he has!

Made 655hp and 1171tq. It required 2300us, a max of 24deg at 4k rpms and 199mpa. The smaller 64.5 wasn't helping me out much, but I made my goal!

Congrats! Where in MN are you? Josh is a nice guy to work with, can be blunt at times but nothing wrong with that. I have been meaning to get my truck there And strap it down.

I'm just south of Dodge Center, in Hayfield. Josh even said he wasn't putting the skinny pedal down too hard initially so it didn't downshift. Sounds like it throws his dhno for a loop when it does. So, I'm thinking torque may have done better otherwise.

I tried posting the graph but its too large.. Max hp was at 2950rpms, and at 3700rpms it was at 560hp was all. Im thinking the turbo may be to blame up top. I'm going to do a few more datalogs to make sure everything is doing as it should. I didn't take a bunch of time to do that there being I was paying by the hour. If I find some things that aren't kosher I may go back up one day. I was pretty happy in general, but id like to get a fatter graph.

Against what you are thinking I'm going to tell you the pulse is still too high for what you are shooting for with it. For example my wife's stock lmm has a 12mmcp3 and 100%LBZ injectors both from exergy and it also has my Billet 61mmstg2 turbo(LMM turbo with upgraded wheels on both sides) and it made 625hp on 1550us and 590hp on 1400us. Now it is only a 35hp difference for the 150us in pulse but the 1400us didn't smoke at all and the 625hp left a trail behind it. So it drives everyday on 1450us and 600hp and when the air is great it is 100%clean but when the air is shitty it has just a touch of haze to it. I tow on this tune and my wife and my 16yr old son also beat the balls off of the truck on this tune with out issue. The torque is right at 1200ftlbs and full throttle shifts are at 3600rpms. Do what you will with the info but that's my two cents on it.

So this was stock injectors? And a 10mm pump and what were your egts? I have the same turbo so I'm super curios

My stock cp3 would hold 25,500psi rail at 2100us. I looked at my log and I made 655hp with 2250us. So, I'm guessing my stock cp3 maybe would have hit 610hp from judging all the other tune hp separations vs pulse change. However, I know there's hp in having the pulse shorter with my 60s, so you'd probably lose another 15-20hp from the added timing with the stock stix I'd imagine.

The last wot run I hit 1587deg or so on my big tune on the street. 2000rpms to 3700rpms.
