LB7: How much power will the trans take?

So I have a 65 hp chip in the truck, plan on getting a cat back exhaust and intake for it as well. Will the trans hold up to the extra power? The truck only gets maybe 750-1k miles put on it in a year since it doesn't get driven in the winter. I don't know what tranns is in it either lol, besides it's a Allison. Thanks guys.

Odds are your fine. The usual number people say is 90hp and over it's a risk. 65 is doubtful to overdo it unless it's already sick. Could be wrong there but I wouldn't worry about it personally.

Fyi unless it's just cuz you want it, a catback and intake will do diddly squat for you.

you are on the ragged edge already and it wont be long till it start limping if you are aggressive with the throttle in 5th gear or tow and get heavy in the throttle in 5th

It rarely tows, I'm pretty easy going on the throttle in that gear.

it will live for a good while then. just stay out of the throttle in 5th and down shift to 4th/lock out 5th if you want to get into it hard
