Im down 8.7k at commanded vs actual . How much is that hurting me? Im working on why its down. 100% over w 2 stock cp3s and a fass 260 thats noisy. Im thinkin my suction side is to small. Im pretty sure when I originally put a dmax in my suburban I put in a .500 pickup with same size bulkhead fitting through the top of the pump hanger. So I figured EH good nuff. Should I just get a sump kit?
Thanks

If you monitor lift pump pressure it will tell you if its starving. That 260gph should have a 5/8" suction though.

Need to know how much pulse width your running. 9k difference is significant drop in power though

Fass 260 is junk. Never had luck with one.

I bet you're down a couple hundred hp.

Im all ears....... Ive bought many Fass and installed them on many trucks. Needed help on this new 250. I friggin broke it and bent the armature. The guy at fass is a D!x VERY condesending and wont listen to you. Wont sell me just an armature he "has to have it" in order to put it together correctly. Some nonsense about a special tool for the seal? FFS I chucked it up in my lathe and bent it straight. Used a straw like a valve seal install tool =)

Oh wow. Either the 260 ain’t supplying shit for pressure, you have high return rates or the pumps are just flat worn.

I can hold that same uS on an air dog 165

with 100% injectors?

One pump is brand new bosch other is my old one.

The fasss is really loud, Indicating not enough feed?

I didnt see it. is there a pid for inlet pressure? No Why would there be? I was thinking I should tap the feed and read it. My feed is 5/8 to 1/2s into the pumps w -6 an

Yep My injectors are shit too 3 are - 4 ad one is + 4. What do you feel about Industrial injection rebuilds? Have they become a better quality? I can get them for 260 each or 345 for them as 100% over

At 800hp I'd hope so.

Last season I fought the same thing. Had to cut the spring to get it at 12psi at idle. Otherwise it was at 20 psi and raising my rail at idle. But then pressure would go to zero once I launched. Put a stiffer spring back in to get me by for a while. Left pump off until I started spooling. Ended up selling it and getting a fuelab. It did the job.
Fass customer support was crap. They had no solution for it. Never had a fass work well on big fuel. Hence why many guys have to run 2 pumps.
Check lift pump pressure throughout pass.
If maintains then check return rates on injectors.
That leaves cp3s if you have a race plug.
That's plenty of cp3 for 100 overs

I had to cli the spring in mine as well but no issues holding pressure at full tilt. I need to throw a Banks sense on it to log it properly though.

Which fuel lab are you running?

Yea Im gonna pull out the ole graduated beakers and return rate kit this weekend.
Ill plumb in a pressure guage as well.
As far as sumps. I only see them with 1/2" npt. Is that enough if I do 1/2" npt to? -10? -12?

Yup, 100% overs. 2100uS and I don’t drop rail unless converter doesn’t lock and rpm goes through the roof.

Throw a pressure gauge on the pump and go from there.

I still don’t care for industrial stuff. I just don’t feel they have hit “quality” yet with what they build.

You don’t “need” a sump. I have the factory sump with ppe 5/8 pick up. It’s all 1/2” after the lift pump though.

If lift pump pressure is good, I’d check injector return rates and go from there
