how many hours a week do you work?

being self employed it seems like its always feast or famine.

just finished a 89 hour work week and I'm beat.

back in dec I could have fit all my work for the month into 3 or 4 days.


I dont know what a normal work week is.


whats everyone else put in???

Up until almost 2 years ago. I used to work 60 to 70 hours a week. I was a workaholic. Now I work only for Pat so maybe 30 if he is lucky;) actually it's his employees of his real job that suffer if I'm not there :rofl:

Up until last 6 months it was 42-45 a week with occassional 50-65 hr week. Still get the long weeks a couple times a year best most are straight 40. :(.

Thinkin bout a part time gig for some spending money. Ideas for reasonable jobs to do after 5:30 during the week and or on weekends? Wouldn't mind hotshotting a couple weekends a month if I could make any money at it.

My supposed work hours are 9-6, usually its about 50 hours a week. But it seems like lately ive been going in 6 or 7am and not leaving til 10, 11, midnight working on projects.

Heck, Im at the shop now :D

I am getting paid for every key stroke :D , worked hard long enough that now i am at a desk 80% of the day .

Well, i go to my job 8am-6pm and hour lunch, but ima flat-rate technician, payed per job.
All about the "Gravy" jobs:rofl:;) Somthin, i havent tasted much of recently:mad:
Latly, feast or famine here too, either hardly any cars come in or were out of parking space:eek:

Unless i take the evening off to relax or have a "ME-foucused" weekend, im usually busting my ass working on other stuff. I'll come home from a full busy days work and go put in another 4-5hrs in at home, get up and do it again! At times i cant belive how much crap i'll endup doing during one day/evening.
Somtimes, im a complete lazy ass and not get anything done and sleep till noon aswell:rofl:

All i know is...Overworked & Underpaied! Stayin ahead of the game is a real battle somtimes. Im only 26 and i can feel it already, im payin for it with my back as it is:eek::(

Oh and Drag racin season has started up here, theres another "energy-funnel" although fun! Im dead tired after a race day!

When I am at work I usually work around a 100hrs a week-on the average for 4 to 5 weeks straight. Sometimes more.

But when I am off I am off for a month or so at a time so it sort of evens out in the end. Sure wish I was paid by the hour!:(

32-40 a week
No bennys no OT. And not a whole lot of pay. Hard to build a fast truck and still be able to drive it everyday. Once im done with school ill work at least 56 thank god
