did you do main studs on this build? curious whether that is being recommended or not seeing as though guys have put down so much power with stock bolts and had minimal walking issues

Caldwell , Oh
My goal this year is 700hp . My build is a little different because of the sled pulling rules in my area . The only thing is I am going to try to keep a stock bottom end alive by running cooler air charge .

That sounds like a sweet build. I wouldn't mind doing something like that for myself. Definitely keep us posted on the longevity of the build, I am very curious.

About how much does the machine work run? Assuming you have all the hard parts and just need the keyways cut, assembled, balanced, etc..

I did go with main studs on this build and do on most unless requested other wise , I have ran more HP than most with no main studs with no issue so i wont say there a nec item , but in the grand scheme of things its not that expensive to add them , they change the cost of a build by maybe 400 bucks minus the cost of new stock bolts and its even less of a difference .

Trent, whose stroker pump? Thanks.

II double Dragon pump

It will vary greatly from shop to shop but figure 2-4 K depending on if the heads need a valve job , the condition of the engine, and the level its re-assembled to .

Seeing how it's been a few years how has the truck held up? Wanting to do a similar build myself and hoping for reliability

Trent disappeared from the diesel scene a few years ago.
My build is still running strong at 700rwhp. I never added any more fuel beyond the stock cp3 and my build had 46k miles, all on the big tune.
