How long are your batteries lasting?

Retest your batteries, mine did the same thing under warranty. Took the dealer 3 weeks to figure out it had a bad battery:thumb:. Asked them the first time it happened if the batteries tested good, yep they are both good sir, did you leave your cell phone plugged in overnight. I got pissed and made a seen on week 3.

I found out today that the glow plugs on an LB7 draw around 100amps to work, and the intake heater draws another 50amps. And people wonder why the battery voltage takes so long to come up. Holy crap!

Holy crap indeed. IIRC it also takes 600ish amps to spin the starter motor.... add it all up and its a tall order, even for two batteries. Looks like I will be buying myself an early christmas present.
