How fast does the ECM actually change the tunes with a DSP5?

So, been pondering some ideas, and wondering how long does it take the ECM in a 2006 lbz to actually change the tuned parameters when you turn the switch on a DSP5?

I understand that it "feels" instantaneous....but I'm looking for an actual amount of time (in milliseconds)

As fast as you can turn the knob, it's instantaneous...

Except for the TCM, for instance when you're at a traffic signal and you switch from a daily driver/mileage tune to say your 90hp or whichever your hot tune is when you wanna outrun the vehicle next to you the TCM does not know you did it.

Kinda like this, the Allison remembers what you were doing not what you're gonna do........

All I really need is 2 tunes, FAST and FASTER and more than likely stay in the faster tune. I thought something was wrong with my truck and had forgotten I had switched to my mileage tune with a LB7 RUMBLE.........

It switches instantly on the bosch controller. Delphi's by default switch3d in .3 seconds to avoid any fluctuations or hiccups during switching. As soon as you turn the switch, it changes which set of tables it uses for a bosch though.

TX of course
You can set the time it takes to switch in efi. I think Ferm is right and EFI wants there to be a little delay though.

I don't recall those tables being present in LBZ/LMM tunes.

Iirc it isn't. Just the voltage referenced to dsp folder on the lmm.

Well it's been a long time since I looked so I might be confusing some tables or generations.
