Not sure if its from when the HG's were done, but I have a lope and it even happens with the stock tune? What is about to go out or anything I should look at? Logged fuel rail, desired, amps to reg and some other things and I didnt notice anything out on the ordinary? I just recently deleted the fuel filter. But it was fine before then also. Thoughts please

I like to log reg current in milliamps DES vs Act

Rail press will do the same

Then I would adjust it to make it close

If that didn't work and I was concerned enough about it I would prob just swAp reg out

You could try just adding some 2 stroke oil or a fuel conditioner

So I did all the above and I can post the log if need be. Still has a lope and rattle at 1/4 throttle. Would deleting my fuel filter have anything to do with it? Or the HG's just being done?

Odds are its a Regulator, if all other sensors are fine. Tech 2 can graph the regulator and help diag a surge condition, the knock is not a usual suspect with a failing reg in my experience though.

I have a fuel rail gauge in cab. The pressure stays consisant and no sudden jumps. Turn on A/C no jump. Turn wheel left and right nothing. What is the voltage to the reg supposed to be?
Ive always had the LBZ rattle, its just louder and that I tow everyday its really bugging me. Even when the exhaust brake kicks in slowing down its there.

Check the surge at idle, looking for less than 2 mpa difference in fuel pressure des vs act or less than 50 rpm diff up or down. Did you put all the injectors back in the holes they came from? for flow rate programming. Dont know if this still affects your set-up though.

I don't think the LBZ regulator PIDs are working.
I'll log again in the morning

Never took the injectors out? Been using the search button and found one guy prob was the reg. How when after start motor ran good for 20 sec then started to lope.

Who sells a modded or new lbz reg.

Since I did away with my stock filter setup my lope is more noticeable. Mine is caused by the good ole fass pump.

Your probably just pushing the regulator open with the lift pump then

Up the numbers in the first couple cells of the reg current table

I didn't realize u had a lift pump
