How can I turn off the defueling in efi live. Thanks Josh
TLIQ set to high number stops defuel if tuned correctly. So does a high number in the base torque. But if tuned wrong, flare will be present.
ECM doent read anything above 100mm3
I know what Ross Posted but i still dont believe it
proof and pudding
Yep, pulse at 125 is the same as 120.as for Bosch ECM i dont know.. but sense all teh tables go to 120mm3 it would surpirs me the the limit is 120mm3
Ok, I'm confused.... I tried playing with the defuel table(s) at one time. The way I understood it, the Tq Limit tables indicate how much fuel will be injected when a specific cell is specified based on SAE.RPM and DMAX_TRQ values. When I tried increasing the values to make for what seemed like it would result in zero defuel, what actually happened was when it shifted, it actually dumped more fuel in than I was expecting... Since the option to remove defuel came out in the TCM, my transmission has shifted better than it ever did with defuel.
What is the value in the referenced cell during the shift? Many times a reference to the 400+ torque cell is made because of the calculations made as a percentage just before a shift. TLIQ has everything to do with this calculation. IIRC The calculation is described in this table. And, what could appear as more fuel " that calculated mm3 as reported thing " could actually be a drop in volumetric efficiency during that shift resulting in black smoke. That is if the smoke is a signal to you as more fuel. Just assuming here since a log is not present.
I don't remember as it's been a long time since I played with it... There was no smoke, I was logging it at the time, and on the shift, the injected quantity shot up and made the shifts really stupid from the extra fuel.
Hmm i have to fix this, i tried out the McRat tune and let it loose, itl de-fuel so hard in between shifts you will eat the dash
Must fix.
