.... And also for the first time puller, dont be a smart guy and get cocky and try to throw it in neutral at the end of the pull and rev it up. Seen a ford guy do it once, missed neutral, and straight into reverse. Back right into the sled!! Its was hilarious!!! :happy2: I have my video somewhere of mine pulling for the first time I need to load up. One with the torsion bars cranked, and one with them lowered. I love my big tie-rods!!! :thumb:

Ummmm, that's not for showing off. That's to keep you from killing your engine. If you don't throw it in neutral and let off the throttle all at once you'll stall the engine.

Well his did. He slammed into the sled. It appeared that he wanted to blow out some smoke in neutral, but after he stopped from his pull, its like he missed it and went right into reverse.

Yes becuase it was a Ford. The Allison wonn't go into nuetral like said before it is computer controlled and to smart. also if you push the gear slector forward then up you can't even get it to nuetral no matter how hard you try

Please strap the front end! I've seen Chevy's all summer at pulls/tug-a-trucks without a straight centerlink or strap that break right away or crab walk the entire length of the track.

 I didn't break mine but Robert had to swap out the tierods that I bent from my pull last year.

I bent my hitch also with my drag race launch :baby:

Ok the chip is a 90 hp chip, I have the spring clamps ade and ready to go. Me and my brother made a brace to keep the centerlink from rolling. I have a cold air intake and my truck is straight piped, so whats the recomendation 4 low 3rd gear or 4 low 2nd gear? And thanks again for all the help. Oh yeah I also have the ppe boost increasisng valve on this truck also.

Try 3rd if it doesn't seem like it wants to pick up speed or RPM you can quick shift back down to 2nd. If the track looks like the track in the vid above you'll pull third easy, if it is black, tacky and hard probably not.

All the above advice is sound but if you are afraid of breaking or can't afford to fix it...leave it in the parking lot. Pulling is very addictive AND expensive :thumb:
But what do I know? :D

Well I pulled it last night and made down the track in one piece but found out 3rd gear is a little steep for my truck I placed third with 302 feet. But damn was it fun:)!
