Well it is final, here is the break down on who is paying what of the $1300.00 in remaining closing costs.

Bank-$400
Jess's agent-$240
Seller concession-$650

Total contribution from them-$1,290
Total contribution from Jessica-$10

Not only that, but they agreed to move the closing to Thursday the 12th after the seller moves out. A walk through will be done traditionally right before closing!

Chalk this up as a win for Jessica. She told me that she will be using the $1300(portion of it anyways) to buy me a flat screen for the garage which she happily gave up as "my area"!

What a story! :thumb:

You guys had them by the balls.........glad she stood her ground and got the deal she agreed to.

Post some house PICS and the flat screen when you move in.

Congrats.

Will do. For now, here is a google map of the house.

First thing this spring the driveway will be widened on both sides by a few feet or I just might extend it enough to park another truck on the left side...IDK yet.

As for the inside, it really doesn't need anything as it was just remodeled.

On edit: those awful looking bushes are going as well.

Well, yesterday was closing and we moved about 70% of the stuff over there in the 18 degree weather. Everything went just as we planned it. Jess got the closing moved until she was out, so they did the walk through the night before closing and then went back at 8:15 the next day right before closing to make sure nothing changed. Jess and my mom spent the evening scrubbing the crap out of everything...bathrooms, kitchen and appliances, floors and what not. We didn't call it quits until around 1am after having a few beers in the new house on our new couch watching our new TV. We are moving her pug Jack and my lab/mix dog tucker tonight so that should be fun. Our other new TV shows up today between 2 and 4 then the washer and dryer show up tomorrow. I need to move my office over there sometime this weekend as well. Lots of stuff to do. I will take pictures and post as soon as I can. We need to paint my office because it was this woman's little girls room so it has yellow walls

As for the garage, my cc/sb fits however they have some shelves in there I need to tear out because they are like 4' deep and my truck's ass sticks out. No big deal though.

All in all, everything worked out just fine in the end! :thumb:
