Does it work? 2001 GMC 3500 hazes at idle, balance rates were iffy, going to check them again today..... customer has asked me about Hotshot, seen it on a truck show on Speed TV? Truck runs good, starts good just hazes at idle. Is it worth the 50 bucks to try it?

ford 6l

went to the site posted sure lots of ford 6l testimonial must be different style of injector????? this is from the site as well:

Does it work on: 7.3L, Caterpillar, Volvo, Duramax, Cummins, & International Engines?
Yes, although specifically designed for the 6.0L, it works on ALL diesels old and new. It will clean the turbo., rings, and oil pump.

That hotshot stuff is designed for HEUI trucks, putting it in the oil wont do jack for the injectors

Yup sounds like total false advertisement like most of these miracle snake oil remedies saying it will work in todays modern diesel.

It works, but won't do a thing for your injectors, like stated its for oil driven injectors in fords. It will keep the oil from building up inside the engine and prevent coking of the oil.

I work for Hot Shot's Secret, so I think I can shed some light on this. You guys are completely correct when you say the Stiction Eliminator won't do anything for the injectors on a Duramax. It will though, clean out the rest of the engine, including the cam, lifters, oil pump, and turbo bearing. You can almost think of it as a flush to do once a year or so.
You can look at the Diesel Extreme to clear up the injector problems. It is no exaggeration when I say that I get 3-4 everyday from guys with LB7's that are smoking at idle. I would say about half of the time, the Diesel Extreme can clear them up. Is it a perfect fix? No, but it is a whole lot better to spend $15 on an additive before you spend the thousands on injectors.

Is your product registered with the EPA, and if so under what name..? Marvel Mystery Oil is under Marvel Oil Company.

The Diesel Extreme is currently registered under another company's name. For reasons of non-disclosure I cannot say who, and what name it is. But before you guys jump on me for it, we have submitted the paper work it to be registered under Hot Shot's Secret - Diesel Extreme, so as soon as it all goes through, you will be able to find us there.
