anyone get the new issue of diesel world? PPE had a LLY in there that they put a 4094, dual CP3's and a hot +2 on. It put down a max of 622HP @ 3300 and 1183 torque @ 2250. They started with a pretty much stock truck. So what do you think, safe for a weekend warrior? Id like to add dual CP3's to mine :D i think i could put in the 11's with them

how long you think it would last? Im going to build it eventually. its not my daily driver i have only put 3K on it this year.

no real XXX mile/drag/pull it will last. some have gone for quite a while.. some shorten rods rather quickly..

rods and cut pistons cost just as much as a duel fueler setup.(~3100)

unles you need new pistons

how long you think it would last if you built a tune with EFI live with low timing and lots of fuel. the low timing should keep cyl pressures down.

I dont think you want to get to wild with it. To much fuel can be just as bad.

I wouldnt get crazy with it. But say you knock a few degrees in timing out and open up the injectors a bit longer. You could still make good HP but keep the cyl pressure reasonable. I know it wont last forever and i damn sure dont expect it to. But just long enough for me to buy rods, studs, etc.

pull timing open inj longer.. mantian rail pressure makes for smoke....

I say go for it, you dont drive the truck enough to be too worried about it. I am going to put 2xCP's on my truck as soon as I can park it and get something else to drive.

Just do it knowing the consequences:D

confuscious says kabooooom!!!! in the near future:rofl:

but seriously its not a daily driver and you want to build the motor eventually so go for it but i will say this i beleve a 4094 is too small for dual fulers you might have to look into a 42 or something a bit larger than a 4094

if you do it good luck

Ive been running PPE hot+2 and dual fuelers for about 50K miles with no issues. BUT im only making 550 hp. Oh yeah its an HTT charger i have.

What tune are you running? the 350HP tune? I need it to live for alittle while. I know you can tune for the 2xCP3's with EFI live so you keep the cyl pressure and torque down to not bend the rods. It runs good now but you know how its goes its never enough :D Im not to worried about bending the rods as long as they stay in the block....
