LMM: hose off the frame? dish soap? cleaner? will i damage anything?

So i have the bed off, i was going to apply a rust protective coating to the frame under the bed since the beds off. i dont want to damage anything, do i need to cover anything or is everything basically water resistent enough to hit it with a hose and maybe some purple power to degrease it?

You won't hurt anything more than rain will, have at it.

I scrubbed my LLY with diesel to get the undercoating off and used straight caustic based degreaser and a 6500 psi steam genie on it, you can’t hurt anything

Can't go wrong with Purple Power. It is a good degreaser and biodegradable also.
