Hi All,

I'm working on trading in my 2004 F350 CC Dually for a 2016 GMC Denali 3500HD. I've run into an issue ... (an no it isn't that no one will give me a reasonable offer on my Ford  )

On line, I can build a 3500HD Denali with an 8' bed and SRW. I have struck a deal with a local dealership and was ready to place the order yesterday. The dealer called back and said that they could not order an 8' bed in a Denali in any configuration.

The 8' bed is important as is having single rear wheels. I make far too many trips to Home Depot for various remodeling projects to give up the 8' bed. My fiance is tired of having to accommodate the dually in parking lots; and I really don't need the dually to handle my enclosed car trailer.

So here's the question ... How many of you out there have SRW 3500HD Denalis?

Now that you've mentioned it, I've only seen 6'6" beds on srw denalis and only 8' beds on the dually. Someone in here knows forsure if they exist or not.

I would swear that I saw one at a car show in Louisville, KY last summer. It's what actually got me thinking about going back to GM from Ford.

I chatted with GMC specialists on their website and they tell me it's available. It sounds like if I can get it it will be a rare truck. If not maybe I'll be staying with a dually. That won't make the fiancee happy.

We have a 3500 CCLB SRW High Country duramax at the dealer right now. So I'd assume there would be a denali equivalence? That pickup looks sweet too.

Thanks CarolinaHD ... At least I know that I wasn't crazy over the summer and I'm not looking for a unicorn!

Good to know elliottw ... I would assume the same. I'm hoping that we get this cleared up today and they can place my order. I really don't want to have to go back to the drawing board.

Well ... good news! We're placing the order this afternoon :woott:

3500 HD CC/LB Denali - Black on black Duramax with all the toys!

Apparently they tried to build it as a 2500 HD which I thought wouldn't work. So the 3500 HD it is. This gives me a little more head room on rear axle ratings for the trailer and gear.

Now the 12 week wait ...

Yeah Josh ... That's one of the babies! That shot will be in Hemmings Muscle Machines sometime in the near future. They came down to shoot the car in July.

I have another Monte in a lighter silver ... also a 70 but she is a hot rod. The one in the avatar is as correct as I can get it.

Well .... I won't be waiting 12 weeks. Got the notification from the dealer today that the truck is in transit. That was just about 4 weeks from order date to ship date. :woott:
