I have a way to make an AUX input in our trucks that allows you to play your ipod for a total cost of like $8. I have already done it to my truck and all my friends or else I would make a step by step DIY with pictures. It is a little too hard to explain without that, but very simple once you see the process. If anyone is in the Pittsburgh area and has a truck with bose and the factory XM option, PM me and I could do this mod for you and get some pics for the forum.

As far as I know this only works on trucks with the factory XM option. XM does not have to be activated, just available.

Anyone have any pics? I have some ideas of where I would mount it when I get one, but would like to see what others have done. Thanks. :D

Get the one from Crutchfield. It works great allows you to control everything with your steering whel controls/dash controls. Open the glove box and then push the lever at the back that lets it drop down all the way. Connect and mount using double side sticky tape to a flat surface there. Run the cable through the dash and into/underneath the enter console. Pull out the cup holder and pull the cable from under the dash and connect the iPod. Put the cup holder back in place and leave the iPod out of sight and prying eyes of thieves. Works great. :thumb:
