Not sure how he did it but I know a few people who can get flages ,you can also cut up a stock down pipe to get the basic flange then fab up a few things to get it to accept a round pipe .

I've got flanges as well, this is my design.

The 3" v-band flange is just out of the picture on the tubing.

Why do I keep doing this?

NOI, but I already know all about using the stock flange for something other than its intended use, and I still have Vaz's flange out in the garage, so I know all about those, and Ive seen some really interesting LB7 adapters, but Id still like to know what bones did anyways. :)

I'd way rather work with a downpipe lol, making the flow go upwards with the way the oval is shaped makes it a pain. This was the best way I could find for best looking flow, the turbine outlet flows directly into the 3" pipe and the wastegate sort of dumps into the flow downstream during the 90*.

Looks good

How you like the hood stack so far?

So far so good on the hood stack. Smoke seems to go around the truck and over the pass side mirror and it only makes a slight whistle while cruising.

How is the turbo mounted? If tot he fender how do you allow flex betwwen the piping and engine as it torques up?

I ordered a t6 flange with a mounting tab on it but they sent me the wrong one so i made and attached my own mounting flange to the t6 flange and from there i made a bracket that mounts to the motor in 3 places. There is just enough gap around the turbo to not hit anything when the motor twists.

what is the consensus on running a stock Lb7 turbo with a S475/S480 ? Is the stock turbo limiting or are you waste gating around it ?

The stock IHI is internally gated so after somewhere in the low 20's psi the gate is open and diverts more air to the big turbo. I have to do some more testing to decide if the waste gate is ok at the stock setting or if i need and adjustable one.

Probably should have multi quoted right away. Oh well.
