I made a U joint plate and mounted them there. I wonder if length and angle have alot to do with noise and vibration/ clunk noise? Since my bars are two and a half by two and a half square tube 1/4 inch wall i use to take a big cresent wrench and 4lb beater and tighten them up. I havent in a few years.

Mine are 2.5" square 3/16" wall and over 7ft long. They run from the u bolts to the back of the front door. I also snug them up with a BFA and a hammer

Mine are 36"x 2" 7075 aluminum links from IronMan4x4Fab. I made the brackets, 12" adjustable for pulling, DD, and racing. They allow me to block the rear up to get my hitch angle at pulls, and drop it back down to a 4" drop in the rear. I also cut the front hangers and moved them up in the frame, that's how I got my 4" drop. The joints are Currie Joints and are rebuildable, 1 1/4" shank. I welded 3/8" steel tabs to the stock u-bolt plates. The Links and joints cost me 500 to my door, polished and hexed and all. they weight maybe 15lbs per side.

I run tractor end links and HATE them with every part of my being!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are so loud and rattle and I feel every bump in the road. I will be redoing mine when the truck is back on the road. I will be going to heims and adding urethane bushings.

Mine are exactly the same way, I finally just welded every single moving part together until I can do something different. Let me know what you come up with for joints!
