LBZ: Hold down bolts

Broke off two hold down bolts on driver side what will be the best way to get them out? Thinking of pulling the valve cover, also looking for the torque specs for bolts.

If the bolt is sticking up high enough you can try welding a nut on to it.

If it's sticking up out of the head pull the valve cover and unscrew it. Had that happen on the pulling truck

I was able to use a pen magnet and pick to spin it out when I broke one.

When I broke one off I pulled the valve cover and was going to weld and washer and nut on the part sticking out. as soon as I hit the broken bolt with the welder, the shot of juice broke it loose and I spun it out with my hand.
