i've got an 03 18ft 10k equipment trailer, use it for hauling vehicles mostly.

anyways, the jack at the front stripped out. its not the gears, but the "nut" that the threaded rod goes through. its not really a nut, more of a big square cast piece that is pinched into the vertical square jack leg.

i cant figure out the brand of jack, its welded on, came on the trailer new. anyone have any advice as to where i could get a part like this so i dont have to spend $180 on a new jack?? ( i like how this jack functions, dont want a cheap little walmart jack).

looks a lot like a bulldog jack.

I'm confused on what exactly you're asking. Can you maybe post a picture of the part in question?

x2:confused:

But the way it sounds to me, if it is what I think it is, your likely gonna have to make something or buy a whole new jack.

I had the same thing happen to my equipment trailer. Nobody had the piece, and the manufactor wouldnt sell just that piece. I ended up just getting a Bulldog jack and being done with it. Good luck with your search.
