went to the track last firday and ran my truck the first time. only has a 100hp tune from diesel addiction. ran a 14.91. dont know if that is good for a 7000lb truck on a 100hp tune but it was fun. was leaving the lane around 18psi in 4x4 it was a blast.

That sounds really good. A 100 hp tune on my 8000lb truck only got me a 15.7x. It's kind of crazy to think that you can get 7-8000 lbs moving that quickly, really. Most passenger cars can't move half the weight as fast as our trucks do.

I've GOT to get my front end built. My truck launches pretty good in 2WD, but I can barely leave at 3 psi or I just spin. I can't even imagine what it would feel like to launch a truck at 18psi

oo its fun that run the it felt like the truck jump off the ground into 2nd gear. i was like will this should be fun. cant wait to get a built trans

i dont know how i was doing that but anymore then 18psi i was pushing threw the breaks. yea the tranny aint to happy with me but it needs to be rebuilt anyways. im sure ill have to leave with alot less boost after i get the trans done. its fun tho

I ran a 15.0 with a 90 hp hypertech. What converter are you running bac? My old stocker with a 400+ efi tune would rev to 3k before pushing through the brakes:rofl: I have not tried my ML yet to see what it will do.

Some of us can convert a stock converter into a high stall converter, Tom..... :rofl: I know mine is now, I prefer the heavy-right-foot-big-tune method....

its a stock trans and converter. it has been limped maybe 20 times when i had a ppe and mp-8 on it havent limped with the efi but needs a trans im sure i wont be able to leave like that after a tranny is put in it
