I have an 05 lly with 70k miles on it. Its started running hotter lately.

Today I was on my way home doin 60 mph and the engine temp climbed to 212. I have edge juice with attitude and it was set on fuel mileage. The engine coolant level is where it should be.

The outside temp is 100 and I live in vegas so elevation is about 1700 ft. 9" lift with 38" toyo mt tires.

Anything I should look for or be worried about.

Also if your fan clutch is original it's a good idea to replace it. And an LBZ mouthpiece is a good upgrade to get some more air into it to help keep intake air temps down.

X2 with what was said above. If you have some miles on the truck and the radiator is original it may look like this truck I just did yesterday. '07 with 200k:

Just hose down the radiator from the back fwd?

I have a k&n intake on the truck. Yea I'm reading the temp off of the edge digital display.

Take the radiator out and take it to a car wash. Bring some good cleaner/de-greaser. My radiator looked fine yet I was still amazed at how much junk I was able to wash out of it.

the edge is going to read your actual temp much more accurately than your gauge on your cluster. 212 doesnt sound bad to me but id definitly suggest cleaning the stack out if you can

I hosed it out real quick with a garden hose and there was a lot of dirt that came out. I'll be taking the radiator out this weekend to fully spray it down. Thanks guys.

its not a great temperature, but its not the best either. mine ran like than until i did a full egr delete and now in traffic and interstate driving on a hot day with mine it only gets to 190. the lbz mouthpiece, full intake and exhaust really dropped my temps. especially the downpipe
