I have an 08 LMM 1ton drw crew 4x4. Upgrade parts include; banks intake, afe bladerunner intake manifold, afe turbo to intercooler downpipe, pcv reroute, fass 95 pump with XX performance duel fuel filters and an EDGE CS with egt probe. My issue that when towing 12,000 travel trailer my egts reach 1400 fairly quickly. I have gone back and forth between the tow tune and the stock tune and the temp rises about the same. It has been recommended that I delete my egr and dpf but due to carb regs I really do not want to go there. Any recommendations would be appriciated.

No it is a stock edge cs, but the egts are running high even when I return to the stock program.

Do you have an exhaust already? I could tow 14K up a mile long 6% grade and keep it below 1200 on the Evo's tow tune. Just a down pipe, 4 inch straight pipe and an intercooler tube.

So, I take it a larger intercooler would be just a wast of money?

I would say yes. (Not that I know to much) It seems like your exhaust is to restrictive and is the cause for all this. On the LML I have deletes and since I live in Cali I kept the stock stuff to bolt on for the smog testing crap
