I have the same problem sometimes. I've heard people putting relays on they and fixing the problem but i don't have any experience with that.

You can try by adding the relay harness - sometimes that will solve it. Also, try changing your grounding point if its not directly to the battery - I always say the 'cleanest' power is direct to a battery. Obviously if you dont have the harness its just through the OEM headlight connections, so worth a shot.

Ive also heard of people wrapping their ballast with tin foil and some have said that solves it - I guess RFI coming from inside the ballast. Not sure how much faith I put in that one, but hey - worth a shot! :D

and ive heard the reverse ;)

And I have held both :D

The VVME's were so cheap that they couldn't match all the connections, they had different size spades, and all sorts of other annoying things. Plus their quality control on bulbs sucked, they sent me a 4300k and a 5000k bulb the first time, instead of both 4300k bulbs.

The raptors are the same style as VVME, and $25 for 35W, $35 for 55W, and work perfectly. The Slim Ballast DDM, I own two now, and work perfectly.

I will admit, I installed a DDM kit recently and had a bulb burn out a few months later... but the Lifetime Warranty replaced it no questions asked.

Plus they are in Cali, and iirc VVME ships from Hong Kong.

damn man, easy. ive heard things about DDM and seen their product and it would keep me from buying from them.

I have three friends and three of my vehicles running VVME stuff for almost a year now with neither mine or my buddies having issues with bulbs, ballasts, or wiring (mine cane plug and play, no issues) but granted not everyones stuff is perfect and everyone has issues.

not sure why my post seem to hit your button or what its got to do with radio interference but hell, its jsut my opinion.

Not hitting any buttons! Internet has a way of making typing seem the wrong tone.

I am just giving my opinion on VVME... this is one of those things that has been discussed and hammered on the Audi forums... nothing against you, I am just giving you all the facts that I have seen between those two companies!
