Kind of off topic here but which ones are the "whiter" light HIDs? I'm not really to keen on the blue light look or at least not the really blue light. Was thinking about a set but just haven't had that much time to look into them yet.

Actually, 4300k are pure white. Some websites call them 4300 and others call them 5000k. I wouldn't go any higher than 6000k personally.

I'm running 4300k in lows, highs and fog lights. I get flashed maybe once every 6 months. I think they're aimed pretty good.

When I installed mine, I thought about those. What I didnt like about the 3k's was the fact that they're gold, not amber. I didnt really like the color. I'm sure they're plenty bright but not enough difference to change out my 4300k's for.

i would say mine are more amber then gold..honestly i tryed switching them out with 4300k's and the 3000k trumps it. bigtime the clarity is insane

Maybe it was the manufacturer of my kits then. There are so many out there anyways. I'm content though with what I have. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't put any in my highbeams. For those rare occasions when I actually do get flashed, it'd be nice to be able to flash them back. Now, I dont even bother because it takes so long to warm them up enough so that they're even effective.

And thats why I disabled it. I wanted full control of all my lights, all the time. So, at night, I can run any combination of lights that I want.

Like DRL's at night, with any combination of my PIAA's.
